What is Impeccable?
Impeccable is an open-source design skill for AI coding agents, created by Paul Bakaus. It gives an agent a working vocabulary for typography, layout, color and motion, so pages built with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, GitHub Copilot or Gemini CLI look designed rather than generated. Its stated goal is to turn AI slop into interfaces people are proud to ship.
How to Use Impeccable
From your project folder, run npx impeccable install, pick your coding tool and choose a project or user install, then reload the tool. The installer needs Node.js 18.19 or later. GitHub Copilot app users can enable it under Settings, Experimental.
Next run /impeccable init in the agent chat ($impeccable init in Codex) to save your audience and goals in PRODUCT.md. After that, describe the outcome in plain words, for example "/impeccable polish the pricing page" or "/impeccable design a signup page", and the agent applies the matching workflow.
