A credit corresponds directly to the cost of sending a message to an LLM. Longer conversations or interactions involving complex codebases will consume more credits, but usage remains fully under your control. We're steadily optimizing the experience to help you maximize the value of every credit.
How many messages can I send (with credits)?
Because credits correspond to the cost, there isn't a fixed number of messages you can send. As an illustrative example, the Dyad app codebase itself is more than 200k tokens and sending a message will typically consume around 1-2 credits, thanks to the Pro modes which optimize credit usage. This means for a medium-sized app, you could send between 150-300 messages per month.
