It supports Supabase integration for comprehensive app development (Auth, Database, Server Functions) and enables running local AI models with Ollama. Dyad also offers a 'Pro' version with premium features like AI credits, exclusive AI modes (Turbo Edits, Smart Context), direct access to the creator, and exclusive learning content.
How to use Dyad?
To use Dyad, download the free application for macOS or Windows (no sign-up required). What are credits?
A credit corresponds directly to the cost of sending a message to an LLM. Longer conversations or interactions involving complex codebases will consume more credits, but usage remains fully under your control. We're steadily optimizing the experience to help you maximize the value of every credit.
How many messages can I send (with credits)?
Because credits correspond to the cost, there isn't a fixed number of messages you can send. As an illustrative example, the Dyad app codebase itself is more than 200k tokens and sending a message will typically consume around 1-2 credits, thanks to the Pro modes which optimize credit usage. This means for a medium-sized app, you could send between 150-300 messages per month. Please note this will vary considerably depending on factors like your chosen settings, the overall size of your codebase, and the complexity of your messages. We aim for this system to be highly competitive with other app builders in a similar price range.
